The next morning, Lua got up and prepared for the night ahead. He didn't know exactly how this festival would proceed, nor did he know what the contents were. Despite that, he brushed his hair - something he rarely ever did, and ironed out his clothes. It wasn't much, but he still figured he might as well represent.
He saw the absolute state his coat was in, and couldn't help but sigh. He wanted to have it repaired sooner or later, but it wasn't too poor in condition to not wear tonight. This was his best coat, and even if it was ripped to shreds, he would find some way to wear it.
He walked out of his room, and made sure everything was proper. Night had already fallen, and he could see droves of people walking towards the Cathedral. Now with the Pope's permission, he was able to walk out of the home, which he did.
