The flames that were coming out of the Arachnids as fast as they started. The culprit for this was none other than Lua himself, who had controlled the flames with hesitation to put them out. This wasn't part of the strategy, but Lua wasn't going to let all of these resources go to waste. A down side would be the fact that some soldiers that would have been dealt with the flames likely ended up escaping, but he didn't mind. They could live if it meant he kept all the precious resources, including the Emberion Engines that likely still had a bunch of Emberions left in them.
Cheers erupted from the crew of the spearheads. How could they not celebrate? They had just felled an overwhelming foe with inexplicable technology. This was a monumental victory, but that wasn't the end of the story yet.
