After what felt like a dragged out two months, the Church had two weeks to spare due to the odd decision from the Union to take a longer route. During this time, Lua had a few ideas on what to do. The first was the building of artillery - if their project failed and the Spearheads were destroyed in the war, then they would need some sort of backup plan.
Luckily, Lua knew how artillery functioned, even more so than the folk in the Union. This time, he wasn't working with a foreign concept like the Spearheads - artillery was something that had been frequently used in the alternate world where the Futuristic Lua lived in. And, truth be told, their artillery was heaps and bounds more impressive than the ones used in Atherim. Although he couldn't include features such as instant distance calibration, as that was done through electricity, he could replicate everything else.
