Lua raced forwards, and the Pope alongside Vision followed him, trying to keep up. The walls around them were slowly turning darker and darker, owing to the depth of the area they were in. They had been tracking Lua for roughly fifteen minutes, and with an average speed of ten kilometres an hour, they had already gone two and a half kilometres deep. Had Vision not been teleporting, it would have been impossible to keep up with Lua's speed.
This speed was exhausting him, however. His Emberions hadn't had the chance to replenish during this whole ordeal. He had recovered some while he was sitting in the 'timeout box' manufactured by Ion, however, that was gone after two warps. Right now, he had to use everything remaining sparingly, otherwise he was going to run out. Though, he could only hope that this seemingly endless tunnel was coming to an end.
