The duo proceeded deeper into the catacombs. Inside the crevices that looked like shelves in the cobblestone walls, many skulls were placed, as if to remind them that this was a place where the dead rested.
"You don't reckon there are undead here, right?" Lua asked. His previous encounter with a zombie was mildly terrifying to say the least, so he wanted to make sure beforehand.
"Nonsense." Vision's voice came out harsher than normal. "The Lord's grace prevents such vile creatures from existing."
Hearing this, Lua started to feel a bit more comfortable. It was always good to be under the protection of a God, even if said God was weakened right now.
The corridors were dark because the torches that were on the walls weren't lit at all. So, Vision was leading ahead with a lantern, while Lua followed closely without one. Although Vision was calm, Lua was high on edge.
