Lua returned to his home, feeling exhausted from yet another day's hard work. He sat on the couch and looked at the little shadow creature that was presumably asleep on the coffee table. Lua had been feeding it with Emberions little by little, as he was afraid that it would turn into a creature beyond imagination. So for now, this was the best he could do for it.
Most days, Lua wouldn't come home and would spend the night in the workshop where he belonged. This was often the result of him falling asleep due to exhaustion on the spot, but tonight, he figured he may as well get a good night's sleep.
He looked at himself in the mirror. He had become a total mess, there were bags under his eyes and his hair had become dishevelled. He looked like he was infantry in a Great War.
