They hid in the bushes for some reason, under Rijn's orders. They were in a sparse forest, seemingly only a short distance away from the town. Lua could see the lights of the town that were a bit lower than his level, indicating that they were on a hill.
"Oh Lord, we may be a bit late…" Rijn said worriedly. "I'll never hear the end of this."
Lua looked around trying to spot the trolls. However, before he had a chance to say anything, Rijn exclaimed loudly:
"There!" She pointed in a direction that was towards the town. Lua couldn't have spotted the creatures, despite their height, himself. Due to the darkness, he was only able to see four blurry figures in the distance.
They were clearly tall, but Lua couldn't make up just how tall they were. They kicked up dust when they walked, and with each step, it only seemed that they were getting nearer and nearer.
