Sol jumped in place and rapidly turned around when she heard that dreadful noise. That sound was one that clearly came from the glass cup shattering.
She saw that the creature had broken the cup and had managed to successfully escape the confines. Before Sol could react, however, it had already reached the necklace with the insignia.
It felt like the world paused for a moment. Colours reversed, and what was bright became dark. And what was dark, became bright. The shadow demon had started to glow a brilliant white hue.
