The trio made it into the crevice after much difficulty, and practically threw themselves inside. Lua was the first one to get up as Fren had post-adrenaline exhaustion in his body. The Wyvern madly clawed at the entrance, preventing them from leaving. Moving to the other side wasn't an option either, as the Wyvern could simply fly around and trap them from that position as well. By all meanings of the word, they were trapped.
The gigantic beast clawed at the entrance, trying to swipe at them. But due to its sheer size, it couldn't even get a paw in. It violently thrashed around, trying to enter the cramped area.
That was when Lua noticed that the Wyvern was surprisingly successful at trying to catch them. The crevice crumbled around where its claws were, and slowly but surely, it was making progress.
