That was... definitely one of the experiences of all time. Lua exhaled sharply as he followed behind his client, Kate. They were currently boarding off the large steam ship after a gruelling three days afloat, extended by the customs that delayed them by an entire day. It was a horrible experience, even the days without the border crossing being an issue.
Lua wasn't one to be seasick, but this experience nearly made him want to be. Kate was as boring as a person would get, never engaging in conversation and always staring into the abyss as if she was watching ghosts entertain her. Lua occasionally tried to talk to her, but Kate would give short answers and then never continue speaking. Lua didn't care what had happened to her, but this was no way to treat someone.
Of course, he didn't say this to her at all. What he was doing right now was coping about an issue that could have possibly been resolved with an 'Are you alright?'
