Overseer smiled wickedly and responded with: "Excellent."
Of course, since Lua wasn't insane, he hadn't carried 10 Ducats with him. The best he could do was pay a portion early and the rest later. He still wasn't sure if this would be convincing for Overseer, though. He would have definitely looked shady in her eyes.
"...I only have three ducats with me right now. I can bring the rest during the next meeting."
To his surprise, Overseer didn't even bother asking questions. She nodded, and placed the blade back into the sheath, ending this section of the meeting.
