Alfred's words hung in the air, letting everyone who heard it embrace it. What had they been doing? They had been training frequently through spars, but beyond that, not one of them had made an effort to seek out the next recipe for their evolutions.
For Alexandra and Nacht, the only path they saw to evolve was through dismantling the local Central Company branch in Hunn. Accepting this as unrealistic within the near future, they hadn't made any more progress in seeking out strength. They had been patiently waiting for the time when they would finally be able to evolve, but they hadn't necessarily done anything to speed up the process either. Perhaps there were alternative ways, they just hadn't searched for it.
