Clank! A sharp metallic sound rang around the hallway, startling Lua and Sol. They were already quite tense for fear of the undead - a fear that was not unwarranted, but still uncommon. The undead were deceased humans who had passed away while holding some sort of grudge, causing them to return to 'life'.
These undead could be found in many shapes and forms, the most common being zombies and skeletons. These monsters carried little intelligence over from their past life, lacking a spirit to properly be considered humans again. These creatures were often killed by those of the "Reverent" descendancy, as those were often famous for their holy abilities. They were able to strike down such monsters efficiently.
