"Why, you ask? It's because I find dying without the other party knowing enough is always unenjoyable to me. It's a lot more fun when they know just what doomed them." As Beta finished his sentence, he suddenly closed his hand, crushing the wine glass. The wine seeped from his fingers onto the floor, giving the illusion he was profusely bleeding from his hand. Lua assumed he must have been bleeding regardless due to the sheer force he had applied to that glass.

"You take my beloved student, and because of your foolishness, he had to be handled. Do you not feel remorse for your actions?" Beta projected the entire blame onto Lua.

"You're insane!" Lua couldn't help but yell at the top of his lungs. "If you cared about him so much, why didn't you help him?"

Beta chuckled. "Difficult times create strong men. It's simple logic."
