Nacht watched as Arc paced around the room, his face expressionless. Nacht knew Arc could change his facial expressions at will, allowing him to hide his worry. He was well aware that Arc was very worried, and it didn't take too much of a genius to understand why.
'Nacht' had departed some time ago, and although he hadn't given a convincing reason, Nacht had some guesses.
What mattered was that he couldn't understand why he was being kept in the dark. Although he could make some educated guesses, he saw no advantage.
Are they trying to protect me by not telling me? Nacht tried to reason, but he couldn't feel comfortable with any answer.
"Is anything wrong?" Nacht decided to ask the clearly worried Arc. Arc continued to pace around, only registering what Nacht had said a bit later.
