Lua quickly backed off, frustrated at how his arm had exploded into a million pieces. Although he had wanted to use Emberions to blast flames into Ion's skull, his arm had shattered far before he could do such a thing. As such, he was only left with one limb and two mechanical arms that he was keeping hidden beneath his coat.
Lua looked around and scanned his surroundings for anything useful. However, after a few seconds of searching, he inevitably only found one thing useful to him - the previously mentioned magenta carpet.
Knowing his enemy was drunk on combat and was enjoying Lua's pitiful displays, he knew he had some time to waste. He leapt backwards onto the carpet, landing on his knees. He waited patiently and also used this opportunity to regenerate some of his emberions. If he wanted this plan to work, he would need as much of it as possible.
