Lua knew these people were far from the barbarians he had been told stories of as a child. He had heard that barbarians were uncivilised rabble who would even eat their comrades for religious reasons, but from what Lua could see, that wasn't true at all. Despite their crude clothing and a lack of permanent housing, they were practically identical to those in the continent of Atherim.
