"Fox meat is truly terrible." Lua said as he bit down on the fox. Despite the horrid taste, he wasn't one to give up fresh meat, especially in the snowy forests that sometimes didn't even have animals that he could eat. It was definitely a welcome change compared to the rabbits that seldom appeared and had little nutritional value.
As he finished a leg that had been thoroughly cooked, he tossed it to the side. He had been gathering the Emberions from the creatures he hunted, and this fox had been no exception. It had been lovingly turned into nothing but a slight increase in Lua's Emberion reserves.
Lua had come to realise that the more Emberions the animal had, the less that could be transferred over to him. So, for the foxes that possessed more than the rabbits, this meant that the loss would be great. And great it was, for Lua didn't gain many more Emberions compared to a standard rabbit.
