Vincent sat in his office, his mind distracted, files and files of work laid on the table before him. The stack seemed endless, each folder containing a different case, a different set of problems that needed his attention. He sighed, rubbing his temples, trying to focus his thoughts.
"You seem distracted today, sir," came a voice from across the room.
Vincent looked up to see Gabriel, his assistant, studying him intently. The young man's gaze kept flickering to Vincent's neck, a puzzled expression on his face.
"If you have something to say, just say it," Vincent snapped, irritated by the constant scrutiny.
Gabriel hesitated for a moment, then spoke cautiously. "Sorry for staring, sir. It's just... I couldn't help but notice that mosquito bite on your neck."
