Arata dismissed the officers with a curt, "You two are excused."
He then turned to Onizuka, "Onizuka-san, would you mind taking Setsuko-san to the living room? Perhaps some ginger tea would help settle her nerves."
Shuugo put his arms around his wife and scanned the faces around them.
"What is the meaning of this? Arata-san, Midori-san?"
Grandpa Takigawa cleared his throat before either Arata or Midori answered the question.
"We should not talk here. Everyone, let's talk at my place. All maids and servants please return to your work."
Midori handed Ame over to Mai.
"Don't lose her again."
"I won't, Ojou-sama," Mai promised. She held Ame like she would a treasure trove. "I will guard her with my life."
