Takiko excitedly gave Midori the raw script for Romeo and Juliet in the old English language. She procured the thick and yellowish bundle from an English merchant along with a dictionary to decipher words she might not understand.
Midori put everything aside the next day, when she had to focus on setting up her shop.
After breakfast, Midori taught Mai and Yuri the art of making drinks, starting with simple fruit juices.
Alas, without a blender, the process was a symphony of aching muscles, dotted with frustration. In the end, Midori settled for milk tea.
Making milk tea could not be easier.
First, heat fresh and clean water to a boil in a pot. Then, add black tea bags to the water and let it steep for several minutes.
In the meantime, heat the milk in a separate pot and whisk it until it generated milk froth.
Afterward, just remove the tea bag and pour the frothy milk into the cup of warm tea.
