"Is that it?" He asked, the unhappy tone that accompanied his question hardly negligible.
Midori folded his hands in front of her kimono and pulled her lips into a curt smile.
"Truthfully, I have expected it, and although I am disappointed about the way our relationship ended, you deserve to be with someone better than me."
Akiyama clenched his jaw.
"I never said that you are not good for me."
"I also did not say that," Midori agreed. "What I am saying is that there are other women who would be a better fit for you. Someone like Himawari-san for example."
