Chie crept along the corridors and stopped right in front of Midori's bedroom. The door was slightly ajar, and she could hear voices coming from inside.
"Ame Ojou-sama... Ame Ojou-sama, look here~"
It was Mai's voice. Apparently, she was alone. Midori left early this morning for St. Anne's Academy to resume her teaching position. Yuri was probably outside, running some errands for Midori.
A wicked smile formed on Chie's lips.
Chie descended the stairs, her steps unhurried. Halfway up, she intercepted Yasuo, a maid carrying a small tub of steaming water.
"Stop right there."
Yasuo looked up at Chie in confusion.
"Yes, Young Madam?"
"What are you doing?"
"Uh..."
