Early morning two days later, the Yamagata residence had to deal with a disruption in the form of a certain young man, whose presence was far from being welcome.
"Please, Endo-san, let me see Young Lady," Shinji begged on his knees in front of the mighty gate.
"Please leave, Shinji-kun," the head servant of the Yamagata household, Endo, spoke in a stern voice. "No one from the family wishes to see you, especially not the Young Lady."
"Please," Shinji bumped his forehead again and again on the ground. "I just... I want to apologize to the Young Lady."
"Your apologies are not necessary. Never show your face at the Yamagata family's residence, ever again!"
