"A Wandering Soldier"
Prologue
"Being powerful is boring," I said, groaning as I took the pair of dice on the floor. "Even if I seal off all my damn power, there's no fun in it because of my past experiences in previous worlds," I said, my voice laced with frustration. I've been traveling through different worlds in search of a place to call "home," but sometimes it just doesn't make me feel at home after centuries of living there, as if wandering aimlessly is my purpose in life at this point, but I don't really hate that idea; I kind of like it.
"Seriously, my instinct is just too sensitive. Even if I limit more of what I can do, I can just kick a man's ass in just a couple of steps," I said, taking a deep sigh and trying to calm myself. I slowed time inside my personal world dimension as it slowly stopped time entirely. I closed my eyes in search of a new world to set foot in.
"Norsia," I muttered. With my passive skill of insight, I can see the world of Norsia and its people. It was a world in its ancient era, a world with magic and power like any other world that I have encountered. "Hmm.. looks decent enough for me," I said as I opened my eyes, resumed time and space, and manifested the Cerise Sword, whose crimson color and sinister aura would make every man cower in fear at its sight. I tightened my grip on it; it was the only object that remained on my home planet.
I snapped out of my daze as I swiped my sword in an upward manner to create a portal. And I said, "It seems like I'll also meet the future goddess of this world; an exciting journey indeed."
