Prologue:
War.
War never changes, so why do we fight? Why does mankind never seem to escape this notion of its past? What kind of question is that I ask of you? That is the same of asking about the laws of nature. Such as why does leaves grow and die? That's how nature goes, it happens. There's no questioning it. So why try to change or go against it. To do so is simply to deny yourself.
If you are to deny a part of yourself, then you are not whole. How would one truly grow, to improve, to evolve? If you're too worried about aspects about yourself that you refuse to acknowledge. Some would say to stick to that logic is rhetorical, or obsolete. Even barbaric, but no matter how one was to bury such aspects of oneself it will always resurface. After all a cage beast is still a predator. The question we should be asking ourselves is not why do we fight? We should be asking ourselves what is worth fighting for?
No matter how far humans evolve, there is no escaping what we are. For now, and into the far future there will always be war.
