"Why didn't Jimmy and Samuel come back together?" Clara asked curiously. She looked closely at Mateo. His face wasn't red, there were no signs of swelling, and he was wearing clothes that hid any injuries. Earlier, they mentioned a fight, how come there were no visible wounds?
Clara looked back at Charles, and he shook his head slightly, making a mischievous expression.
Clara nodded, not saying anything. She said to Mateo, "Let's go back! Little Furry is sick and running a high fever."
High fever? Seeing Clara's anxious expression, Mateo nodded and called out to Charles, Henry, and the other two people, "Let's go back first. There are some fish here. Take them and share them." Mateo held the fish in his hand. The fish was distributed to everyone, and he took the child from Clara's hand.
"Let's hurry up. We'll be home in soon." Clara nodded. Now that she had no energy to rest, the most important thing was to go back to check Little Furry.
