Early in the morning, Rowan and the others came over, relieved to see that Clara was safe and sound.
"It seems like we'll be staying with the wolf tribe for a while. In these days, everyone should try to stay together and not be alone. Also, avoid conflicts with the wolf tribe. Once the water recedes, we'll go back," Mateo briefly explained the precautions, and then everyone dispersed.
"I'll go look for food today. Clara, come with me!" Mateo tugged at Clara's small hand. He really wanted to stay with her at home, but without food, they would starve.
