Tsekani hadn't had the time to return to his youngest brother and the kind girl was in his custody. It wasn't that he didn't desire to meet with them – in fact, he really, really wanted to – but he was kept under tight watch by his mother and wife. He couldn't help but wonder if they had discovered his involvement with Samir.
Princess Ferrah, the woman to which he was bound to under ceremonial pretense, had been staying within the First Prince's section of the palace for days – which was odd. She hardly ever spent time with, or even near, Prince Tsekani.
