"Your oldest brother will be here today, right?" Nazmi queried. They were taking a leisurely stroll to the main palace despite the urgency of th Queen's summons.
"He likely won't be involved in the meeting itself, but he hasn't had the chance to greet me since he returned," Samir answered. "I think we've both been too busy. He always greets me and gifts me a painting from each of his travels."
Nazmi looked at the Prince with an adoring pout. "That's so nice! I wish I had siblings that loved me like that. Do you ever do anything kind for him, too?"
Samir gave her a sideways glance with furrowed brows. "I don't know if I would call our relationship 'loving', but I guess it definitely isn't a bad one. Also, why would I do that?"
"…because he does nice things for you?" Nazmi frowned. "I know I'm not an expert on family relations or anything, but I'm pretty sure it's normal to reciprocate when given something."
