Samir was very pleased with himself. Not only had he made Nazmi feel better and arranged a celebration that she loved, he got to use the event as an opportunity to show the annoying little stick-wand 'sorcerer' just where Nazmi belonged.
Right by his side, of course.
The Prince had been making an effort to stop viewing Nazmi as a possession, and instead as a person… but for some reason, despite the fact he had started to grow comfortable with the shift in perspective, he still got irritated when he noticed Aero's eyes on her. Samir decided not to think too hard about the reason why he felt that way, because something inside him warned him that everything would only get more complicated if he did.
So, to remedy the nagging frustration, the Prince felt the need to assert himself in a way that Aero would understand. Rather than trying to communicate it verbally, Samir decided he would simply do it through action.
