The King and Queen's intimidating aura kept Nazmi in line; she didn't kick nor fuss the entire time she faced them. She couldn't help but notice the clear favoritism that was being displayed before her eyes. It was disconcerting and angering.
Asa sat there with his mother actively healing his wounds while Samir was forced to kneel before the King and Queen, despite the grave state of his wounds.
Samir looked up and met the Queen's emotionless gaze. I intimidated, he began telling the fabricated story that they had all made together.
"I originally captured this girl for no other reason but pleasure," the Prince stated, motioning to Nazmi. "I ran onto her while I was burning one of the mortals' villages and thought she would make a lovely human pet. I was mostly right, but tonight she managed to slip away from the guards while we were preparing for my attack on the Mirage a week and a half from now."
