Samir stood at what he surmised to be the Mirage's barrier. He and Rasne stopped once his arcane detecting spell gave an indication there was magic in the vicinity. They had taken turns walking through the series of dust devils and tornadoes to investigate what exactly they were working with.
They had discovered there was most definitely some sort of trick to the area, because they always ended up walking in a different direction than they started out in.
"This barrier is impressive," Rasne observed. "It's obviously an incredibly strong spell, but my indicator only picked up slight traces of it. Even now, if I didn't know any better, I would assume there were only amateur sorcerers in the area based on how low the arcane meter is."
Samir took in a deep breath and closed his eyes. He wasn't exactly sure how to go about tackling the situation, because there were still a huge amount of holes in their knowledge.
