Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

It all happened suddenly—the light that quickly illuminated Yilbegan and the prayer that was said without my knowing what the purpose of the prayer was—to my surprise.

I don't know what happened in this place. All speak of conflict between tribes, but others speak of the rise of a primordial god.

Unfortunately, all I saw right before my eyes was Yilbegan turning into a monster. Actually, what are the dreams of everyone in this Oasis land? "There is something wrong with all of this," I said briefly, trying to straighten out a tangled thread again.

"You are right, but this is the fate of the redemption given to us." I fell silent again, but this time something new added to my already quite chaotic thoughts.

"Revenge has been avenged and sacrifice has been made; now before us, the gods will truly descend." Abqary tried to leave me, who was completely helpless to withstand the booming sound of the howling of the Yilbegan monster.

"It started with him wanting to understand the heart," said the church girl who was at the top of the mountain. He started his path, and he saw so many emotions, even from the smallest. He met the leader of the Oasis, who asked to kill him because he knew the truth of the creator, and that's where he found out about everything."

"Creator Truth," I asked with my body starting to try to stand up.

"Drink it; this liquid is made from refining phoenix feathers." He handed me a bottle of liquid without caring about my questions. Without thinking for a long time, I finally drank it, and the wounds on my body regenerated quickly. "If your condition is getting better, wake up; there is an evil god who will descend, and we need to stop him."

"What about Yilbegan?" I looked at Abqary; he was just silent and chose to look away.

"You should already know what would happen if someone's body was possessed by an evil god."

I just kept quiet and stood. It seemed Yilbegan chose to sacrifice himself as a form of sacrifice for something I didn't know yet. I looked at the archaeological clock and then realized something. My gaze looked towards the sky, which formed the constellation. "This..."

"Did you find anything?" Abqary looked at me, confused.

No, this is impossible. He doesn't want to resurrect the primordial god nor sacrifice himself to the evil god, but he waits for his resurrection to become the evil god. "This is crazy." What is Yilbegan's true purpose, and who is he?

"If I read your face, it looks like we should stop it immediately." Abqary was quickly able to read what I felt when I saw the constellations in the sky.

I just nodded as the only response I could give to Abqary, and we quickly ran in the direction of Amran, who was fighting to stop Yilbegan's revival.

"Oh, my brother, I'm so glad you could help." Amram looked towards us after dodging the attack from the monster in front of us. It seemed like his emotions weren't that affected by their previous fight.

"You owe me a lot of stories," I said before drawing an attack with the sword toward the monster's body.

Abqary, from behind us, formed a sharp iron hemisphere to stop the enemy's movement.

"I'll tell you later, but before that, let's stop the teacher first." I was a little surprised, but I refrained from asking further questions considering our condition of trying to stop the awakening of the god in Yilbegan.

The fight ensued, with the three of us enduring the ravings and tantrums of Yilbegan, who was trying to carry out his apotheosis.

I tried to give a blow to his body, but it couldn't be scratched, while the wound made by Abqary regenerated very quickly, which made us think about looking for the weakest point of the attacking enemy.

The monster screamed and brought out several swords from the sky, which fell like rain. I started chanting prayers, turned the sand around me back into gold, and threw it towards the falling swords.

Amran could only dodge using his two swords, and he took advantage of the sword and threw it at the monster.

Yilbegan screamed again after receiving wounds on his body from a weapon he made himself. We both concluded that perhaps it was not something physical that could stop Yilbegan but a divine ability that could stop him, like the sword he had from the bending power of the primordial creator.

"Burnt." Amram issued the first prayer to stop the enemy's movements before we really knew his weak point.

The monster's body was burned in several parts of its body, which caused it to scream again and drop several swords from the sky. Abqary and I again turned the sand into precious metal and reflected the swords back towards the monster's body, which made it lie helpless.

Unfortunately, before we finished there, we heard another bang, which suddenly caused the three of us to be thrown and end up lying in the desert. My breathing was bleeding, while Amram, who was closest to the enemy, suffered several injuries and was unconscious.

I looked at Abqary, who was still trying to stand up from his unconsciousness. I could even see blood flowing from his right arm, which seemed to be starting to go numb from the impact.

What kind of booming sound can quickly paralyze humans? Everyone always warns that gods have a level that humans can't even see directly, so what is in front of me is not a being who wants to become a god. Even so, looking at all this, we have been on a different level.
