South-west Forest
There were big ruins in the middle of the southwest forest, and dust had accumulated on them for many years. The signs of war that took place in the ruins are still visible to this day.
Suddenly, in the center of the ruin ground, a huge purple formation appeared out of nowhere, and after a few moments, the formation shone brightly, followed by a bright light shooting to the sky from the purple formation.
After the light died down, Ye Feng and Fu appeared, and the formation disappeared from the ground without any trace.
Both Ye Feng and Fu surveyed their surroundings, with Ye Feng narrowing his eyes upon noticing numerous claw marks and burnt spots amidst the ruins. They also saw a lot of human and monster beasts skeletons lying on the ground.
Fu was shocked when he saw this, and he asked Ye Feng loudly, "What the hell happened here?"
Ye Feng was silent for a few moments, observing his surroundings. After completing his observation of the ruins, Ye Feng replied to Fu, "My guess is that the horde of monster beasts attacked this place." Look at the claw marks in the walls, the human and monster beast skeletons on the ground, the burned marks on the ground and on the wall; it shows that it was one bloody war and many had died."
Fu looked around, then nodded to Ye Feng after becoming convinced of Ye Feng's theory.
Ye Feng noticed that many of the human skeletons had space rings on their fingers. He also found many space belts scattered on the ground. He then smiled and told Fu, "Fu, let's collect all the space rings and space belts. We might find something that can help us on our journey."
Fu raised his brows in surprise and said, "Brother Feng, they are dead. Are you seriously going to rob the dead?"
Ye Feng looked at Fu seriously and nodded his head at him. "Yes, they may have something that can save our lives in the future; they may also have something that can make us stronger; it is worth it, don't you think so?"
Fu contemplated Ye Feng's words. He hesitated for a few moments, then reluctantly nodded his head. Next, they collected all the space rings and space belts from corpses and from the ground.
Once Ye Feng and Fu had gathered all the space rings and space belts, Ye Feng turned his attention to the skeletons of the monster beasts. He then said to Fu, "We should also collect the skeletons of the monster beasts; we could sell them for a nice price, Fu."
When Fu heard this, his eyes lit up in excitement, and then he and Ye Feng began storing all the monster beast skeletons in their space belt and space ring, respectively.
After storing the monster beasts' skeletons in their space belts and space rings, Ye Feng discovered stairs leading downward. He then said to Fu, "Fu, let's explore these ruins; we might find something interesting here."
Fu smiled and nodded to Ye Feng, then both of them went down the stairs to explore the ruins.

Outside the ruins
A middle-aged man watched both Fu and Ye Feng carefully from outside the ruins. He gave a wide grin when he saw Ye Feng and Fu using the stairs to go deeper into the ruins.
The middle-aged man was wearing a simple brown robe and sandals. He has short black hair, black eyes, sharp eyebrows, a slim physique, and is fair-skinned.
The middle-aged man has a very ordinary-looking face. He wasn't handsome. The middle-aged man looked at Ye Feng and Fu as they walked down the stairs to explore the ruins. His eyes shone with evil intent.
"Perfect! I'll use these kids to collect all of the valuables from the Azure Dragon Sect ruins." After they emerge, I'll kill them and move on to the other five ruins." The middle-aged man smirked sinisterly to himself, then sat on the ground, patiently waiting for Fu and Ye Feng to emerge from the ruins.

With Fu and Ye Feng
After going downstairs, Ye Feng and Fu began inspecting every room on this floor. There were many rooms on this floor.
Both Fu and Ye Feng were disappointed when they inspected each room because they couldn't find anything valuable in it.
When Ye Feng and Fu reached the final room in the ruins, they saw a yellow formation barrier being cast on the door, preventing them from entering the room.
Fu turned to Ye Feng, who was looking at and studying the barrier formation in front of him. He then asked Ye Feng, while pointing at the barrier formation, "What is that, brother Feng?"
Ye Feng answered Fu's question: "This is a barrier formation; to put it simply, the main function of this type of formation is to prevent others from entering this room." In order for us to enter this room, we will need to destroy this formation. The only way for us to destroy this formation is to keep attacking it until it runs out of energy."
Upon hearing Ye Feng's explanation, Fu smiled and immediately summoned his saint weapon. He turned to Ye Feng and said, "Okay, let's destroy this formation, brother Feng."
Ye Feng smiled upon hearing Fu's words. He also summoned his saint weapon (the Blood Dragon Fang), and they began to swing their saint weapons at the barrier formation.
"BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG." Ye Feng and Fu continued to swing their saint weapons against the barrier formation for a duration of 10 hours. Ye Feng smiled as he kept swinging his saint weapon and thought to himself, "My cultivation started to solidify slowly; that is great."
After 10 hours of continuous attack, the barrier formation began to crack. "CRACK." This crack then spread throughout the formation like a spider web. Suddenly, the formation exploded in front of Fu and Ye Feng's eyes like a glass shattering into tiny pieces. "CRASH."
After Ye Feng and Fu destroyed the formation, they entered the room.
When Fu and Ye Feng entered the room, they felt a huge invisible pressure. Ye Feng instinctively turned his head towards the source of the pressure, and his eyes widened at what he saw.
He saw a white, hum-formed skeleton in the corner of the room, maintaining the posture of sitting cross-legged; it looked like it had died for many years now.
Ye Feng's heart skipped a beat when he saw the skeleton and exclaimed, "I can't believe it, it's a saint ruler skeleton."
When Fu heard what Ye Feng had just said, he raised his eyebrows and asked, "Saint ruler skeleton?"
Ye Feng nodded, then began to explain to Fu, "When the saint ruler, saint king, and saint emperor die without severing their connection with their saint weapon, only some of their saint weapon's energy will disperse to the world; the majority of the saint weapon's energy will seep deep into their bones; also, all the mysteries of the world that they comprehended while they were alive will seep deep into their bones."
When he heard this, Fu was shocked and looked at the skeleton with fire in his eyes.
Fu then noticed many different symbols engraved into the bones. He kept looking at them out of curiosity, then suddenly he felt a strong headache. When Ye Feng saw this, he yelled at Fu, "You idiot, do you want to die? Don't look at those symbols. If you keep looking at it, you are going to die."
After hearing Ye Feng's warning, Fu closed his eyes and stopped looking at the symbols engraved into the bones.
Ye Feng quickly stored the skeleton inside his space ring. Then he said to Fu, "You can open your eyes now, Fu." Fu then opened his eyes and saw that the skeleton had disappeared. Fu then asked Ye Feng, "Where is the skeleton? And why did I suffer this strong headache when I looked at those symbols engraved into the skeleton's bones?
Ye Feng then began to respond to Fu's questions, saying, "I have stored the skeleton in my space ring so we can use it to advance our cultivation when we are strong enough. Your soul is not strong enough to begin comprehending the mysteries of the world, which is why you felt a headache when you looked at the symbols engraved into the skeleton bones. You must first ascend to the pinnacle of the heaven-saint master realm before you can try to comprehend the mysteries of the world.
Fu rubbed the back of his head in embracement after he heard what Ye Feng just said. Then he noticed stairs leading downstairs and said to Ye Feng, "Brother Feng, there are stairs leading downstairs; we might find another skeleton downstairs."
Ye Feng chuckled at what Fu just said, and both of them walked down the stairs to continue exploring the ruins.

Fu and Ye Feng arrived at a huge room that looked like a library. The room was filled with bookshelves. Many books and scrolls were on the shelves. Both Ye Feng and Fu were curious, and they started browsing the bookshelves.
Ye Feng was surprised at what he discovered. He saw books and scrolls on alchemy, inscriptions, formations, runes, talismans, and cultivation methods.
Ye Feng's heart quickens as he examines the various cultivation methods before him. His current cultivation method, the twin star wings cultivation method, is classified as a heaven tier cultivation method, indicating that it can only assist him in reaching the heaven saint master realm. However, some of the cultivation methods presented to him were early saint-tier cultivation methods; those cultivation methods could help him reach the saint-ruler realm.
Suddenly, Ye Feng was shocked when he saw a scroll and a booklet. The scroll contained the second volume of the "Berserk Dragon Fiend God Body Formula," whereas the Azure Heart Sutra Sword Art contained only the first volume of this cultivation method.
Ye Feng discovered a booklet containing a peak saint-tier cultivation method known as the "soaring into the heaven cultivation method." With this cultivation method, he could reach the saint-emperor realm in the future.
Ye Feng smiled broadly upon discovering the second volume of the Berserk Dragon Fiend God Body Formula and the Saint Emperor rank cultivation method. He then stored the scroll and the booklet in his space ring, and he said loudly to Fu, "Fu, we are really lucky. Let's store everything in our space rings or space belts."
Fu burst into a fit of laughter upon hearing this: "HAHAHAHA, you are correct, brother Feng. We are extremely fortunate. Let's take everything with us."
Ye Feng and Fu quickly store all of the books, scrolls, and booklets in their space rings and space belts.
After Fu and Ye Feng stored all the books, booklets, and scrolls, they started looking around to see if there was another stair that led downward so they could continue exploring the ruins; however, there was no other set of stairs on this floor.
Fu then addressed Ye Feng, saying, "Brother Feng, I don't see any stairs on this floor. I think we had finished exploring these ruins." I don't see any stairs on this floor. I think we have explored all these ruins."
Ye Feng nodded his head in agreement and said to Fu, "Alright, let's leave the ruins."
After Ye Feng said these words, both he and Fu started to walk to the stairs to leave the ruins.
