"Sorry for making you wait." Mr. Jefferson walked into the office with a troubled look on his face.
"I never expected the count will perish in such a tragic way. I'm sorry but what you have heard is indeed correct." He took his hat from his head to his chest and bowed slightly as he said that.
"You! You cannot be right! I will not believe it."
Nishi left the office without looking back. He return to his Manson and rushed into his study. Nishi believed that his father could never die so easily; he will return in due time but until he does Nishi will take care of all the pending works.
After returning from port that morning Nishi continued to shut himself in his study without much sleep or food.
.
.
Five days later some people carried a coffin inside of Calchanio Mansion. Hearing the news Nishi finally stepped outside of his study.
He approach the coffin as his throat dried up and his heart sank. "This…This is empty!" Somewhere deep inside his heart he felt relieved but the feeling was short lived as the Captain of 4th royal order approached him with a broken necklace.
"This is my fathers." Nishi's heart dropped. His face turned paler than a ghost.
"Yes! I'm very sorry we couldn't recover count's body but this is all we could find."
Up until now Nishi was not convince that his father can no longer return but after getting back his necklace Nishi's heart broke into pieces. Until this moment Nishi did not shed a single tear as he believed his father was not dead but now he could no longer hold back his tears.
He cried and cried and cried,,,,.....
He held the necklace close to his chest with both of his hands. He screamed and begged but the truth was not something he could change.
The 4th order of Royal knights Left one by one only the captain stayed. They could not bear to witness such sorrow.
The Other servants also started crying by their Lord's side.
