Amleth stood by the window, frowning and looking into the distance, seemingly thinking about something.
"Master." Meryl appeared behind Amleth, bowed her head respectfully, and said, "Our brothel and bar businesses are all blockaded by the royal soldiers; do you want to..."
"No need!" Amleth immediately interrupted Meryl's words: "I have my own plans."
"There's no need to resist now. If that bitch Catheryne wants to enforce a blockade, then let her have her way."
"Narrow down your business and focus on only businesses that have to do with manufacturing."
"For the time being, we don't need to confront her; just lie still and wait. I will handle the rest."
Meryl raised her head to look at Amleth, then lowered her head and said: "Yes, I understand, Master."
After she finished speaking, she retreated, then disappeared into the darkness. Amleth smiled mysteriously as she looked into the distance.
