MARIAM'S POV
The next morning, I woke up immediately to prepare myself from going to work.
"Fern, I'm leaving. You take care of Chesca, alright?" I ordered before I left.
I didn't wait for her answer because I was late and Sir Airroz might get mad again. I tried being late before with Yrac causing the whole department to be scolded and I don't want that to happen again.
"Good Morning, Mariam," one of Sir Airroz' employees said when I arrived at the company I was working with.
I frowned and looked at her. Am I dreaming? How come someone greeted me when almost all the employees here in our company hate me?
I just shrugged my shoulders and got into the elevator and stood quietly. When the elevator opened on the floor where our department was, I immediately got out of the elevator and slowly walked inside.
"Hello, Mariam!" One of my colleagues in my department greeted me with a smile when I finally got in there.
What's happening? Why are my co-workers suddenly nice now when they almost threw me up before because they didn't like me?
I entered the room where our lockers were being placed and when I finally got inside, I saw the smiling faces of my friends which made me wonder.
I approached them both and asked them in surprise what was really going on.
"What's with those smiles, Rebecca and Andrea?" I asked while arranging my things inside my locker.
My locker is a little messy now because I didn't clean it much last time because I was tired.
"You!! You didn't tell us that Sir Airroz' brother, Sir Airamis, is flirting with you!!" Andrea pointed to make me frown in surprise!
Huh?! When are we flirting? What's happening?! I just agreed to ride with him in his car and then they're telling me that I am flirting with Sir Airamis? It's just strange, I need to talk to him to make things clear because other people may misinterpret the real relationship between the two of us where the truth is he is just a stranger to me.
I was about to leave to ask Airamis about what my co-workers' were saying, when suddenly there was a noise outside our room, which is the center of our department. Andrea and Rebecca immediately looked at each other causing us to rush out.
"What the heck is happening to this department?! I can't believe this!!" Sir Airroz shouted when Andrea and Rebecca finally got out.
"You!" he pointed me.
I immediately stood properly when he pointed me. I know I'm not doing anything wrong but why do I feel like I've done such a thing?
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"Come to my office, now!" he said then quickly left in front of us.
I immediately turned to my co-workers, Andrea and Rebecca, but they only gave me a big smile.
"Jealousy alert, huh?" Andrea said with a smile that made me frown.
"Why are you saying that? Shouldn't you cheer me up because I'm going to get scolded again? Tss," I annoyingly said.
This is not the first time that Sir Airroz will scold me but why am I nervous about the outcome of our conversation?
I immediately said goodbye to Andrea and Rebecca then I went straight to Sir Airroz' office which is beside his penthouse.
When I arrived at Sir Airroz' office, I immediately knocked on the door. A few seconds passed before I finally entered his office.
"Do you have any idea why you're here?" he asked seriously as he twirled his ball pen that I think is expensive while his eyes are focused on me.
What is the reason and why did he call me here?
I can't help but be scared because of the expression on his face. It seems like he can eat me whole when word comes out of my mouth. Scary!
I looked at him directly in the eyes because I knew he didn't want someone to talk to him without looking him in the eyes, before I spoke, "I don't know why you called me here, Sir," I said directly. I was thankful because I didn't stutter while I was talking to him.
I saw his sneer which caused my heart to beat faster. I was nervous for an unknown reason. He dropped the ballpen that he had been twirling in his fingers before standing up and slowly approached near me.
"You're driving me crazy, Mariam. I don't know why I'm so upset the moment that I heard the real relationship between you and my brother. Fvck!" he said while frowning at me.
I was about to speak when Sir Airroz suddenly put his lips on mine.

"You know what happened?" I asked as our heads touched.
"You two are so gossipy," I laughed as the two of them screamed as if they were hanging on what I was going to say.
"What the hell is that, Mariam! Say it!" Rebecca said annoyingly which made me laugh.
"I have nothing to tell you!" I said while laughing.
TIME passed before we finished our work.
"We're leaving, sis!" Rebecca said causing me to nod and say goodbye to the two of them.
While I was arranging my things in the locker, I thought of every kiss of Sir Airroz again, causing me to shake my head and gently slap my cheek.

While I was waiting for a jeepney, someone suddenly stopped in front of me which made me frown.
"Hop in, my lady," Airamis said, causing me to shake my head.
"Not now, Airamis. I'll just wait for a jeepney," I said while shaking my head.
I can feel the look of the other employees which makes my cheeks even redder because of what they might think. There are a lot of gossipers in this company so I have to stay away from the Almojera brothers.
"Oh come on, Mariam! Just hop in!" He insisted.
"No, I won't. Stop forcing me,Airamis! I'm getting mad!" I snorted in annoyance then tormented him.
"Alright! I can't force you if you don't want to have a ride with me. I'm leaving. Take care!" he said then drove his car away in front of me.
WHEN I arrived at our little home, I was immediately greeted by Fern and Chesca.
"Sister!" Chesca shouted then hugged me around my waist.
"Come on, sister has something to say to you," I said with a smile then led them inside our little home.
"What was that, Sister?" Fern asked when we got inside the house.
I looked at the two of them and smiled widely before I spoke, "Tomorrow you will be enrolled in school," I said with a smile causing my siblings to shout with joy.
"Really, Sister?! I'm excited!!" Fern cried then hugged me.
"Thank you, Sister!!" they spoke at the same time which made me smile.
I don't want my siblings to grow up without education. I will do everything for them to finish their study.
