Showing off my power proved to be the best decision. But the fact that I needed to even make that decision was stupid. A glaring reminder that, for some reason I did not understand, everyone and anyone I had encountered thus far - barring a few - had treated me with suspicion or outright hostility.
The only ones who did not, to an extent, were the adventurers. Though Tov was fairly brutal with his words, but that was as expected for a dwarf.
What was not expected, however, was how these paladins from the Holy Sky Temple had acted towards me.
Sola and Fyren were the first. Then came this Lisala. These paladins, in all their wisdom, decided that attacking me would be their best options.
I mean, what reasons had I gave them? Was I really that ugly? Or was I intimidating?
