"Are you certain that she is alright?" Apprehension and concern were apparent in Sola's voice as she watched her companion, Fyren, get carried away from her cell by a sentinel.
"She will be," I assured, "This is for the best. We don't need her causing trouble or attracting unwanted attention. After all, you will be gone for quite a while. It's best that your people don't know where to find you, if at all."
Sola could not help but swallow a gulp of nervousness, "But they have ways of tracking me. My weapons and armor. My magic too. I bear the seal of the Holy Sky, after all."
I waved her worries off, "None of those things will be of any concern to me or you. I can shroud you in enough mystery as easily as I fumble my own."
Sola raised an eyebrow at this remark, which was fair.
"That means I do better at being concerned with other people instead of myself." I explained.
Sola could only nod in slight bewilderment, "I.. see..."
