Chapter 3: The Choice
He listened to her, incredulous. He did not know what to make of her words, her claims, her offer. He did not know if she was telling the truth, lying, or delusional. He did not know if she was a friend, an enemy, or something else.
She looked at him, expectant. She saw his doubt, his curiosity, his interest. She saw his potential, his talent, his spirit. She saw his courage, his intelligence, his charm.
She wanted him.
She spoke to him.
"I know you have many questions, many concerns, many fears. I don't blame you. It's not easy to accept what I'm telling you, what I'm offering you. But I assure you, it's all real. It's all possible. It's all yours."
He did not answer. He did not know what to say.
She continued.
"I can show you my world, my home, my people. I can take you there, right now, if you want. I can open a portal, a doorway, a bridge. I can transport you across the dimensions, the realities, the planes. I can introduce you to a new life, a new adventure, a new destiny."
He blinked. He did not know what to think.
She smiled.
"Of course, it's your choice. You can stay here, in this world, in this place, in this situation. You can continue your wandering, your searching, your surviving. You can keep living this life, this existence, this nightmare."
She paused.
"Or you can come with me. You can join me in my world, in my journey, in my quest. You can discover new things, new people, new wonders. You can experience magic, beauty, and love."
She reached out her hand to him.
"What do you say? Will you come with me? Will you choose peace of mind?"
