Ivory's POV
My hands pushed the entrance door open while I ran helplessly, I turned my neck slightly without stopping for a second to catch my breath, not because I didn't want to but because I couldn't afford such a risk.
I glanced back quickly and there the man was, he somewhat reminded me of the shadow man from the bedtime story my mother told me every night before I fell asleep as a child.
His cold glare and the sword in his left hand were all I could make out of his image. I turned my line of sight to where they rested originally, my bedroom door.
"Where is it?!!." I cried out in a loud voice when I saw a brick wall where my room door once was.
A bright light caught my attention, it felt almost like redemption, a place I could be saved. I turned towards the direction of the light when I felt my hair being yanked and wrapped around an object.
"Please!!." I begged as he pulled me into the darkness.
