In their discussions, Sico emphasized the need for careful planning and strategic utilization of this newfound advantage.
Sico and MacCready, buoyed by the success of their recent mission, led the Minutemen's militia groups and Protectron units on a sweeping operation through the combat zone. The advanced teleportation device allowed them to cover large distances swiftly, maintaining the element of surprise against potential threats.
The Minutemen, now more efficient and mobile, systematically cleared out remaining pockets of resistance in the Commonwealth. Raiders, mutants, and other hostile forces were met with a well-coordinated response, showcasing the Minutemen's newfound capabilities.
As they swept through the combat zone, Sico and MacCready ensured that the Minutemen secured strategic locations, gathered valuable resources, and established a visible presence that deterred further hostilities.
Sico and MacCready, entering the last building, were taken aback by the unexpected scene. A theater room that was been set up as a recreation place, and there was a raider was engaged in a brutal fight with a woman inside a cage. The ghoul, acting as a Master of Ceremony, orchestrated the violent spectacle, while other raiders cheered and jeered from the audience.
Appalled by the display, Sico and MacCready immediately recognized the need to intervene. With the Minutemen's militia and Protectron units ready, they confronted the raiders, putting an end to the barbaric entertainment.
Sico and MacCready, accompanied by the Minutemen's militia and Protectron units, confronted the raider group in the theater. The room erupted into chaos as a fierce battle ensued between the Minutemen and the raiders. The Protectron units provided cover fire, while the militia executed well-coordinated maneuvers.
Sico and MacCready strategically targeted the raider leaders, aiming to dismantle the group's command structure.
As Sico and MacCready, along with the Minutemen's militia and Protectron units, continued fighting the raider group in the theater, a new challenge emerged. Another group of raiders, previously concealed backstage, joined the fray, increasing the complexity of the battle.
The Minutemen adjusted their tactics, responding to the unexpected threat. Sico and MacCready coordinated the efforts of the militia and Protectron units to effectively engage both groups of raiders. The ghoul Master of Ceremony, now under the control of the Minutemen, was kept restrained to prevent any further interference.
The theater became a battleground as the Minutemen worked to subdue the raiders and restore order to the chaotic scene.
As the intensity of the conflict in the theater heightened, Sico and MacCready swiftly devised a strategy to overcome the dual threat posed by the raiders. They coordinated with the Minutemen's militia and Protectron units, focusing on isolating and neutralizing the raiders from both groups.
Protecting the captive woman and hostages became the top priority. Sico directed a team of Minutemen to ensure their safety and usher them to a secure location while simultaneously engaging the raiders.
MacCready, leading a tactical assault, strategically targeted the raider leaders, aiming to disrupt their command structure and sow confusion among the hostile forces. The chaotic theater transformed into a battleground where the Minutemen fought with determination to bring an end to the raiders' violent spectacle.
With the raiders gradually losing ground, the Minutemen pressed their advantage, swiftly finishing off the remaining hostiles. The once tumultuous theater now echoed with the sounds of the Minutemen restoring order.
As the Minutemen worked to restore order in the theater, the ghoul Master of Ceremony approached Sico. He introduced himself as Tommy, expressing a mix of gratitude and anger.
Tommy: "Well, look who we got here, the savior and the destroyer. I'm Tommy, the Master of Ceremony. You just ruined a good show and killed my customers. What do you want?"
Sico, recognizing the delicate situation, responded to Tommy's mixed emotions.
Sico: "Tommy, we had to stop the raiders. They've been pillaging settlements around here, we have to kill them to stop it. Beside dueling a woman with raiders is disgusting even though that's bringing you money, because of it we can't let that continue."
Tommy, though still frustrated, seemed to understand Sico's reasoning.
Tommy: "Alright, I get it. I hate those bastards too. Wait a moment."
Tommy called out to the woman who dueled with the raiders before, and shortly after, she entered the room. Tommy introduced her to Sico.
Tommy: "This is Cait. And before you start thinking otherwise, Cait here's been my worker. Helped me keep this place running."
After intriducing Cait to Sico, Tommy sighed then explaining to Sico the predicament he faced.
Tommy: "You see, I suddenly got no audience. No audience, no caps coming in. Cait, if you ain't bringing in caps, little bird, you ain't an asset. You're a liability, to me and to yourself."
Tommy then looked at Sico, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Tommy: "Here's what I'm thinking. How about I give Cait an employment contract with you? She can go with you, watch your back. You will doing me a favor, as I trying to rebuild the place in order. What do you say?"
Cait suddenly cut in.
Cait: "Oi, don't I have a say in all of this?"
Tommy: "That ain't how contracts work, Cait. Besides, do you really want to stay here? No audience, no caps, and no one to talk to but yours truly."
Cait replied with a sigh.
Cait: "Jesus. Point taken."
Tommy looked at Cait and chuckled.
Tommy: "That a girl."
He then turned to Sico.
Tommy: "So, Cait's onboard. Now, what about you?"
Sico inquired, "Why would you want Cait to go with me?"
Cait, looking at Tommy, chimed in.
Cait: "Yeah, Tommy? Just why the hell are you trying to get rid of me?"
Tommy, meeting Cait's gaze, explained,
Tommy: "The truth is, all that junk has been making you careless, Cait. I don't want to be the one doing the commentary when you finally hit the floor. Alright? So just do me this favor, both of you, please."
Tommy, after explaining his concerns about Cait's well-being, looked at Sico.
Tommy: "So, what do you say?"
Sico, considering the offer, responded,
Sico: "Sure, I could use someone watching my back."
Tommy nodded, satisfied.
Tommy: "Good, it's settled then. And here, take this. It's the purse from the last fight. Count it as the exterminator fee."
Sico accepted the purse and saw that there was 100 caps inside, then acknowledging the payment for their services.
Cait, holding Tommy to account, asked,
Cait: "Now, wait just a second. What exactly are you going to do without me here?"
Tommy, looking thoughtful, replied,
Tommy: "You don't need to worry about me. I'll get this place set up right, maybe find a less blood-soaked clientele or audience."
Cait, a bit skeptical, raised an eyebrow.
Cait: "And you think that's gonna work?"
Tommy chuckled.
Tommy: "Well, a ghoul can dream, can't he?"
Tommy, after sharing his aspirations for the future of the theater, turned to Sico with a serious tone.
Tommy: "Listen, friend, you're doing me a favor. But let me make this perfectly clear to you. Should any harm come to her, I'll gut you from testicle to eyeballs. Do you understand? Now, get out of here, all of you."
Sico, nodding in acknowledgment to Tommy's warning, turned to Cait.
Sico: "Cait, let's get your stuff. We're leaving."
He then signaled to MacCready.
Sico: "MacCready, get the group ready. We're heading out."
Cait and MacCready responded affirmatively to Sico's orders. After ten minutes, Cait finished packing her belongings and bid Tommy farewell in her own unique way, teasing him about he will missing her sweet arse in a week. She then followed Sico outside to join MacCready and the waiting Minutemen group.
Sico, holding a remote button, clicked it and contacted Mel through his walkie-talkie.
Sico: "Mel, get the signal and send us back to Sanctuary."
The anticipation filled the air as the Minutemen, including Cait, MacCready, and Sico, prepared for another teleportation journey. Mel swiftly executed the command, and with a flash of energy, they disappeared from the theater, reappearing in the familiar surroundings of Sanctuary.
As the Minutemen militia and protectron group, led by Sico and MacCready with Cait who following them, arrived in Sanctuary through the teleportation, they were welcomed by cheers from the scientific personnel. Mel, with a triumphant smile, greeted them.
Mel: "It worked! The teleportation device successfully brought you back. This is a major breakthrough!"
The excitement and relief echoed through Sanctuary as the team celebrated the success of their enhanced teleportation technology.
Sico, acknowledging the successful teleportation, addressed the team.
Sico: "Great work, everyone. We'll discuss the details tomorrow. For now, disperse and get some rest. Back to your posts."
The Minutemen, scientists, and the protectron group who following Mel began dispersing, heading to their respective areas. Sico, along with MacCready and Cait, made their way to the vault.
Arriving at the vault elevator, Sico, MacCready, and Cait descended to the lower levels. As they entered the mess hall, a lively scene unfolded. Jenny, Robert, Piper, Magnolia, and Hancock were gathered around a table, sharing dinner and laughter.
Jenny noticed their arrival and warmly invited them to join.
Jenny: "Hey there! Grab a seat; we've got plenty to share."
Sico, MacCready, and Cait joined the group, and together, they enjoyed a meal.
Sico, with a smile, introduced Cait to the gathered group.
Sico: "Everyone, this is Cait. She will be joining us."
The group welcomed Cait with nods and greetings, and the conversation flowed as they continued to share stories and enjoy their meal in the camaraderie of the vault's mess hall.
After finishing their dinner, the group dispersed to their respective quarters. Jenny, with a friendly smile, approached Cait.
Jenny: "Cait, follow me. I'll show you where your quarters are."
Cait nodded, grateful for the guidance, and followed Jenny to her new living space within the vault. Meanwhile, Sico, MacCready, and the others made their way to their respective quarters, ready to rest after the day's events.
Sico, after arriving at his room, took a refreshing shower. Once done, he laid in bed, reflecting on the day's events. As he relaxed, the system prompted him with a notification.
System: [Quest complete. You have successfully improved the teleportation device. Rewards: 5 S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats and 5 Fusion Cores.]
Sico, considering the distribution of his newly acquired S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, decided to allocate them strategically. He distributed the points as follows:
- Strength (S): +1
- Perception (P): +1
- Endurance (E): +1

Sico, satisfied with the strategic distribution of his newly acquired S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, felt the enhanced capabilities settling in. Content with the progress made with the teleportation device and the improvements to his own abilities, he decided it was time to rest.
