Jack: "This elevator will take us to the basement where my father is being held. But be prepared, the raiders may have waiting for us down there."
With a shared nod, Sico and his companions readied themselves for the final push. They stepped into the old elevator, their hearts pounding with anticipation as they descended into the depths of the asylum, ready to confront whatever awaited them in the darkness below.

Sico: "Jack, what if the raiders have already almost succeeded in freeing Lorenzo by the time we arrive?"

Jack: "If that happens, we have one last resort. There are four switches located around Lorenzo's prison. Activating them will trigger a radioactive shield that will prevent anyone from getting near him. But… it will also be fatal for my father."
Sico and his companions exchanged solemn glances, understanding the gravity of Jack's words. They knew that they faced an impossible choice—risking Lorenzo's life to prevent the raiders from freeing him, or allowing him to fall into their hands.
Sico: "Jack, is there any alternative way to stop Lorenzo from being freed without resorting to the radioactive shield that would kill him?"

Jack: "I… I'm not sure. The radioactive shield is the failsafe we put in place to prevent Lorenzo's escape at all costs. But perhaps… there might be another way. We'll have to assess the situation when we get there and make a decision based on what's best for everyone."

Sico clenched his jaw, his grip tightening on his weapon as he assessed the situation. It was clear that time was of the essence, and they needed to act quickly to prevent the raiders from succeeding in their sinister objective.
Sico: "We can't let them free Lorenzo. Jack, what's our plan?"
Jack's expression was grim as he considered their options.
Jack: "We need to take out those raiders before they breach the prison. Once we've dealt with them, we'll have to decide whether to activate the radioactive shield or find another way to stop them."

Jack: "There's some damage, but it seems the raiders didn't get far enough to trigger the security measures. We won't need to activate the switches for now."
Relief washed over Sico and his companions at Jack's reassurance. With Lorenzo's prison still intact, they had a chance to proceed without resorting to drastic measures that could harm Lorenzo himself.
As Sico and his companions breathed a collective sigh of relief, their moment of respite was interrupted by Lorenzo's voice echoing through the room. His words were laced with a sinister allure, tempting Sico with promises of power and immortality.
Lorenzo: "Sico, release me from this prison, and I will grant you immortality. Together, we can rule this world as its rightful masters."

Jack: "Is everything alright? What did Lorenzo say?"
Sico took a deep breath, his mind still reeling from the encounter with Lorenzo.
Sico: "Lorenzo tried to tempt me with promises of power and immortality, but I refused. We need to stay focused on our mission—to find a way to free him from the artifact's influence without succumbing to its darkness."
Jack nodded, his eyes reflecting gratitude for Sico's steadfastness.
Jack: "Thank you, Sico. I know it wasn't easy to resist his offers, but it's the right choice. We'll find a way to save my father together."
Jack reached into his pocket, pulling out a pouch of caps. He counted out 500 caps for each of Sico's companions, passing them over with a grateful nod.
Jack: "Thank you for your help. I couldn't have done it without you."
He then added an extra 250 caps to each pile, a gesture of appreciation for their efforts in locating Emogene.
Jack: "And this is for going above and beyond to find Emogene. You've more than earned it."
Sico and his companions accepted the caps with gratitude, their spirits lifted by Jack's generosity. With their mission accomplished, they knew that their journey was far from over, but they were determined to face whatever challenges lay ahead together.
