Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The System

"System," I uttered, and like magic, the Clash of Realm system materialized before me in vivid holographic form. It resembled the familiar interface from my phone, complete with my castle hall, now level 9 mirroring my original account "Unique". My resources, money, food, and gems, all stood at their known levels, as did my impressive buildings, troops, and townies.

However, what truly intrigued me was the revelation that I was positioned within the castle hall itself. This was a stark deviation from the original game, and it left me in awe, pondering the limitless possibilities of this new reality.

As I explored the holographic system, my attention was drawn to the leftmost corner, where a message notification had appeared. It was the place where clan messages were destined to materialize. I tapped it, and a flurry of messages unfurled, each one bearing a semblance of confusion and disbelief.

"Where are we?" Ferious Gemmer inquired, their message heavy with uncertainty.

"We are dead, I am dreaming!!!" declared the Knightous, their words tinged with a sense of surrealism.

Amid the chaos of speculation, Kraken, our clan leader, offered a voice of reason and authority. "We should not panic," he advised. "Let us assess if what the woman told us is true. For now, let us join hands, for in unity, we shall find our strength."

The chat continued to buzz with a medley of emotions and theories, as clan members grappled with the bewildering transition to this new world.

Taking heed of our clan leader's advice,

"It is best to know your surroundings first and look around your area," he had wisely suggested.

Within the holographic system, Kraken continued to guide us through the intricate interface. "Look at the system," he instructed. "You can see a shop in the lower right and the option to attack in the lower left."

As he continued explaining the nuances of the system interface, I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. After all, anyone well-versed in the world of Clash of Realms would be familiar with these elements. It was as if our clan leader was using his expertise not only to guide us but also to quell the confusion and fear that gripped our fellow members.

Kraken's voice echoed in the chat, a steady source of guidance amidst our collective bewilderment. "It appears we've lost 20 members," he remarked with a hint of concern, "though we still have 30 out of 50 in our clan. Perhaps they're with other online games universe who knows since the World system is not working right know."

I felt a pang of curiosity as I attempted to open the World System, hoping to explore beyond our immediate surroundings, but it remained unresponsive for the moment.

"Before I forget," Kraken reminded us, "make sure to secure your base with a shield, no matter the circumstances." The concept of a shield was not foreign to me, having encountered it in shops before. It served as a valuable defense mechanism, warding off potential attackers from our base—a piece of wisdom that could prove crucial in this new, mysterious reality.

As I attempted to purchase the shield from the shop, a message appeared, disappointing and perplexing in equal measure: "Not available at the moment. Why?" I muttered under my breath, a sense of urgency mounting.

Suddenly, a small icon resembling an eye materialized at the center of my interface, and I couldn't help but voice my confusion aloud. "What's this?" But my inquiry was quickly answered as the system forcibly transitioned me into the layout of my base, as if I were spectating an ongoing attack.

A chill ran down my spine as I realized the truth: I was under attack.
