Vincent opened the list and read what it said about his bloodlines. He ignored the serpents since he already knew about it. He focused on the other beast's bloodline that was awakened.
[Sunbird Bloodline- A species of birds born inside a sun. They devour the sun and make it into their homes. They can grow up to 73 meters in length and 40 meters in height. Their lifespan is millions of years. They have the innate ability to control solar energy. Over time, they learned to turn the solar energy into flames that could reach temperatures hotter than the sun. Young sunbirds start with dark red flames. Their flames will grow as they get older and absorb more solar energy. They are confused by many people who call them a phoenix. They are NOT. They are not immortal and can still be slain like regular beasts. Only 1,500 of these birds are left in the universe.]
'System, if they can control solar energy, doesn't that mean they can control light?'
[Sunbirds whose bloodline is 100% pure can, yes. Currently, among the remaining 1,500 sunbirds, only 40 of them are 100% pure. This number also includes the Host. The difference is the Host must cultivate the sunbird bloodline.]
'That makes no sense. If I have the bloodline completely pure, I should also be able to control light. Is it because I am human?'
[It is because the Host can't physically handle the entire burden of the sunbird bloodline. The Host is a mortal. Sunbirds are born as Gods.]
'Welp, that explains it. That also makes me worry about what is to come in the future. What the hell happens that I can't handle with my bloodlines?'
He moved over to innate abilities.
[Water manipulation]
[Ice manipulation]
[Temperature control]
[lightning manipulation]
[Fire manipulation]
[Flight]
[Breathing underwater]
[Breathing in space]
[Hardened Scales]
[Venom Spit]
[Regeneration]
The ability that drew his attention the most was the regeneration innate ability.
[Regeneration- Allows the Host to heal from minor wounds and bruises. He helps speed up the healing process of significant injuries. It will become more potent as the Sunbird bloodline becomes stronger.]
Vincent sighed, returned to his main menu, and clicked on the villain points.
[Villain points- They have the same core principal use of wrathful points, but they can no longer be earned just from anger. The Host must consciously make villainous decisions to achieve them.]
'Crap.'
The significance of the change was not lost on Vincent. 'This means I have to be more cruel and more heinous.' He needed to blow off steam, so he changed into his training garbs and went to sweat out his problems.
He started practicing with the staff Simon had given him before but found that it was not doing anything to him. It glowed like usual, but Vincent didn't feel the strain.
He put the staff away and called Greta. "I need to go see my master's. Bring me to the school, please." Greta didn't question why his masters would be at the school on weekends. She bowed and left to get the car.
Vincent changed but paused when he saw the tattoos. He traced the serpent that coiled around his neck and then did the same with the dragon.
He looked at his arm and saw his halberd still there. "I had no intentions about getting a tattoo back on Earth. Now I have three badass ones." He laughed as he thought about his mom's reaction if she was there.
He finished getting dressed and went out to the front.
Vincent arrived at the school and went directly to his master's. Simon, Tyre, Vera, and Jekel were waiting when he got there.
Simon stood up and stretched. "I told you the kid would come here when he woke up." He looked at Vincent up and down. "Show us your animal side so we know what we have to add to your training routine."
Vincent showed them. Vera licked her lips. "Vincent, if only you were 200 years older." Vera was only kidding, but Vincent didn't know. He went back to his ordinary look and scratched his head. Vera laughed and pinched his cheeks.
He rolled his eyes and looked at the men in the room. Simon let out an elaborate sigh.
"Ugghh, you have wings. That means I have to show you a new staff technique and give you a new staff." He took out a pack of cigarettes and walked off to the side.
Tyre also sighed. "He's right. We also have to teach you how to use your form in combat. There is only a month before the awakening." Tyre walked away. Vincent looked at Jekel.
"Don't worry; things will be the same as it was before. I will now include lessons on the elements. There is no time for you to learn how to use them to your advantage correctly."
Vincent breathed a sigh of relief. That changed as he saw how many books Jekel took from his inventory. "I can't even fit all of them in my inventory."
Vera chuckled and handed Vincent a bracelet. "Take this. It has the space affinity attached to it. Inside is a space big enough for a one-bedroom loft." Vincent begrudgingly put the books inside.
Simon came back inside with Horton. "Hey kid, you're sparring with Horton starting next week. He will be observing you for this week." Vincent felt like the universe was trying to get back at him for something he did.
Horton let out a deep bellow of laughter. "I know that look on your face, kid. Don't worry. Vera is here so that you won't die." This made Vincent want to run away from them.
