Helena was the first to join the queen in finding a seat. She had high hopes that the queen saw this all as a great mistake and came here to change everything.
Nathan held Renee's hand and led her to the couch Helena was sitting on so they could all face the queen. As they sat down, Nathan didn't let go of her hand as he thought it was necessary so Renee could control her anger.
The last thing their house needed was to go to war with the palace. Then their daughters would find it hard to wed and might need to move away from Lockwood though the queen greatly needed their services.
"We are trying to figure out what happened for Helena to be dismissed from the selection and curious about Hazel's whereabouts," Renee said, starting first as she needed answers.
