Hazel closed her door before anyone snooping around, following the guard saw her standing there with flowers in her hands. She didn't want to explain why a guard was at her door or why the prince had sent her flowers.
Hazel couldn't answer why Tobias sent them if asked because she had told him that she was fine with the punishment. Did he think that she was inside being sad that she was the only one left behind?
If he could see her view of the garden, he would know that she was enjoying her night so far. Well, until this interruption.
"They are from the garden," Hazel realised, tapping each flower she passed by when she had walked around with Tobias the first time.
