"I see now why you've been getting cosy in the court. You'll end up dead with all those whispering things in your ear if you don't stop now. You're lucky that I am holding back to allow your son to talk some sense into you," said Tobias.
Grant was still amused by how Tobias spoke. "You're not attacking me because of that? Silly boy," he shook his head. "You are not attacking me because you fear having to go up against my army. Should my son join me, you'll have no choice but to give in as you cannot afford to lose men at this time."
"What if I were to side with those barbarians as long as they would make one of my grandsons-"
"You would betray your kingdom for a chair?" Tobias questioned, finding it harder to not attack Grant now.
What Grant was saying now could have him killed for wanting to go to the enemy. Tobias could explain that the throne was not as great as it seemed but he knew this would fall on deaf ears.
