"Promise me that you won't kill anyone today, Tobias. You've had enough blood on your hands in the last hours. I think we need to have a proper talk about all the people you have killed. The ones that I am not aware of," Hazel said.
Hazel was certain that Arlo wasn't the first Tobias had killed. He had confessed regretting telling her what he did to Arlo but she was going to know when she stepped out of the room.
"You don't need to be hearing about death. I want to save you from the gruesome stories. I don't want you frightened of me for what you would hear," Tobias replied, squeezing her hand.
"I am sure that it will surprise me but I want to know from you. I don't want to be caught off guard by anyone about who you might have killed. I should have been aware of who our enemies are," Hazel said as she could watch out for who they were close to.
